How it works
One bike per team, one clock, the whole route. The clock runs from the start to the finish line and never stops for a changeover.
- Indoors, on a Wahoo KICKR BIKE
- Each team rides one smart bike. One rider pedals at a time; the rest of the team waits for their turn.
- Swap whenever you like
- Riders change over as often as the team decides. There are no set turns, and the clock keeps running while they swap.
- Everyone counts as 80 kg
- Every rider is counted at 80 kg on a 9 kg bike, so body weight makes no difference. Only power decides speed.
- The bike follows the route
- Resistance follows the climbs and descents of the course. Both bikes run at the same strength setting.
- Watch from anywhere
- The race view shows both teams on the course, the gap between them and the race clock, updated about every second.
- Dropouts are covered
- If a bike loses its connection, short gaps are filled from the power before and after and labelled as estimated. Longer gaps are flagged for the organiser.
